Process messages

This screen is used to check whether messages are being prepared, read, or processed. From here you can retry the processing or sending of any message.

Search Filters

Field	Description
Date Rage	Filter incoming and outgoing messages by a specific date range.
Partner	Filter by EDI partner.
Connection	Filter by EDI connection.

Understanding the Counter and Status Indicators

Each message displays a counter and a checkmark to indicate its processing status:

Counter	Checkmark	Meaning
`0`	✅	The message was successfully sent or processed on the first attempt.
`1` or more	✅	The message initially failed but was successfully sent or processed on a subsequent attempt.
`1` or more	(none)	The system was unable to send or process the message after multiple attempts.

To retry a failed message, click the reset icon next to the counter. This will instruct the system to reprocess or resend the message.

Incoming messages

This section displays messages received from EDI partners.

Field	Description
Received	The date and time this message was received in Ditat from the EDI partner.
Connection	The connection this message was received from.
Partner	The EDI partner this message was received from. If a file has not been processed this will be blank.
File name	The name of the file sent by the EDI partner.
Message Id	The unique identifier for this message.
Read	Indicates whether the message was successfully read. A checkmark means it was read. If the counter is greater than 0 with no checkmark, the message could not be read. Click the reset icon to retry.
Processed	Indicates whether the message was successfully processed. A checkmark means it was processed. If the counter is greater than 0 with no checkmark, the message could not be processed. Click the reset icon to retry.

Outgoing messages

This section displays messages sent to EDI partners.

Field	Description
Sent	The date and time this message was sent from Ditat to the EDI partner.
Connection	The connection this message was sent to.
Partner	The EDI partner this message was sent to.
File name	The name of the file sent to the EDI partner.
Message Id	The unique identifier for the file sent to the EDI partner.
Prepared	Indicates whether the message was successfully prepared for sending. A checkmark means it was prepared. If the counter is greater than 0 with no checkmark, the message could not be prepared. Click the reset icon to retry.
Sent	Indicates whether the message was successfully sent. A checkmark means it was sent. If the counter is greater than 0 with no checkmark, the message could not be sent. Click the reset icon to retry.
