Breakthrough Fuel allows daily fuel prices to be updated automatically for fuel surcharge calculations.

Apply mode |
Select Add Only to add fuel charges only to shipments that do not already have one. If a fuel charge already exists, it will be skipped and noted in the emailed Excel file. Select Add or Update to add fuel if none exists or update the existing fuel charge if one is already present. |
Note: Breakthrough Fuel notifications are sent exclusively via email and include a detailed attachment showing what was successfully applied and what was not. Users who are not configured to receive email copies will not receive these notifications. To ensure your team is informed of any items that could not be applied, it is recommended to create a dedicated user assigned only to this notify group who is set up to receive emails.

Note: If a fuel charge already exists on a shipment, Ditat will not apply fuel from the Breakthrough Fuel file for that shipment. This will be noted in the Excel file sent via email.
Breakthrough Fuel File Requirements
Ditat is configured to download .dat files only when a corresponding .trg file is present. The .trg file should only be uploaded once the .dat file has been fully processed and is ready for download.
Both files must follow this naming format:
