Maintain Comdata Fuel Cards

Field | Description |

Lookup Card Data | If selected, this will update the card with data from Comdata. |
Lookup Profile | If selected, this will update the card with data from Ditat. |
Fuel Off Network | If authorized here, the card will be able to fuel off the Comdata defined fuel network. |
Override Open | If authorized here, this will open a closed card for 24 hours. |
Override open is used when cards are closed by being manage on the Rate & Pay set up options screen.
Field | Description |
Comdata fuel card | Lookup window to search for fuel cards. |
Current balance | Displays current balance of the card. |
Comdata account | Identifies the Comdata account the fuel card is associated with. |
Driver | Driver assigned on the fuel card. |
Status | Status of the fuel card- Active, Blocked, Clear, Deleted, Lost. |
Employee | Enter the associated employee name here. |
Unit (truck) | Truck number associated with the card. |
Trailer | Trailer number associated with the card. |
Company Standards | Check this box to have card follow pre-set company standards. |
Secure code | If this box is checked and you have the Secure code processing enabled the system will generate secure codes to use for fueling. |
Trip Number | This is the Secure Code that is generated for the driver to use for fueling. If this is enabled with DMD the driver will receive the new pin on their mobile device once the card has been used. |
Driver license/state | Drivers license number and state. |
First/Last name | Drivers full name. |
Primary card number | Fuel Card number. This would be the full 16 digit number including the Parent card number. |
ATM Access | For each card, you can allow Express Cash, Cash on Hand, Both, or None. |
Fuel Purchase | Check this box to allow fuel purchases. |
Express Cash | Check this box to allow Express Cash. |
VRU access | Check this box to allow access to make changes on the account with Comdata over the phone. |
Fuel Card Overrides
The “Override Open” button on the toolbar will open the card to allow driver to get fuel while not under a load for a period of 24 hours. Also, if you need to open a fuel card for off-network fueling, you can select “Fuel off network.”
Primary card number is the full card number including the parent card number. The primary cardholder is typically an owner (think of it as a small fleet carrier) and he/she want to issue cards to their drivers; but they want to limit how much they can draw.
In Comdata the secure Pin option is called Trip Number, so that was the name used for the secure code field in the Ditat. This however is not related to the Drivers Ditat Trip number; the secure code is a onetime use randomly generated number.
