Maintain Connections


This page serves to set up and maintain your EDI connections.

Connection Id & Defaults

Field

Description

Connection Id

This is where you can set the Id for this Connection.

Type

Select which type of connection you will use for communication. Options are AS2, FTP, and SFTP

Maximum send retry

Enter the number of times to try and resend messages to this connection if it fails.

Active

Check the box if this connection is active.

AS2

Field

Description

As2 Identifier

Enter the AS2 Identifier for this Connection.

Log As2 warnings

Check this box if you want to Log warnings.

Send AS2 warnings

Check this box if you want to send AS2 warnings.

URL

Enter the URL to use when communicating with this connection.

Synchronous receipt

Check this box for a synchronous receipt.

Receipt URL

Enter the receipt URL to use to communicate with this connection.

Sign message

Check this box to sign messages to this connection.

Encrypt message

Check this box to encrypt messages with this connection.

Require receipt

Check this box if a receipt is required for this connection.

Hashing algorithm

Select which Hashtag algorithm to use for this connection.

Encryption algorithm

Select which Encryption algorithm to use for this connection.

Public certificate

Enter the public receipt that this connection utilizes, the connection will provide this information.

FTP/SFTP

Field

Description

URL

Enter the URL for this FTP site.

Port

Enter the port to use for this FTP site.

User name

Enter the username to use for this FTP site.

Password

Enter the password for this FTP site.

Password again

Re-Enter the password for this FTP site.

Outgoing folder

If there is an outgoing folder needed for this FTP site enter if here. it would be entered like \outgoing. This is the EDI Partners' outgoing messages.

Incoming folder

If there is an incoming folder needed for this FTP site enter if here. it would be entered like \incoming. This is the EDI Partners' incoming messages.

If this connection needs special file names for 210 you can enter the information here.

override for 214

If this connection needs special file names for 214 you can enter the information here.

override for 990

If this connection needs special file names for 990 you can enter the information here.

override for 997

If this connection needs special file names for 997 you can enter the information here.

Directory parsing RegEx

 Use this is for FTP sites with lower security.

Use Active mode

Check the box if you need to use Active mode for this connection.

Delete after download

Check the box if the file should be deleted after downloading.

FTP in Root Folder

If the connection wants to upload/download data into the Root Folder you need to enter a / in the incoming or outgoing folder.

Folder Path

If receiving connection issues open connection in FileZilla and copy the Remote Site path into the folder path in the setup to make sure setup is correct.
