Note: Ditat will only manage cards in Active and Hold statuses. New cards assigned to a driver that are not yet active should be set to Hold. The Inactive status is for deactivated cards that Ditat will no longer manage.
EFS Fuel Cards

Card Details
Field | Description |
Fuel card # | Use the selector to look up and assign a fuel card. |
EFS Account | Displays the EFS account number associated with this card. |
Driver | Select the driver this fuel card is assigned to. |
Policy | Displays the policy assigned to this driver's card. |
Status | Displays the current status of the card. |
Hand enter | Select whether to Allow, Disallow, or defer to Policy for hand-entering the card number at the pump. This is useful if a driver loses their card — if set to Allow, they can manually enter the card number to pay for fuel. |
Information | Select whether to display Card, Policy, or Both for card information. |
Cross Ref | Enter any cross-reference information for this card. |
Secure code | If unchecked, this card will not use the security PIN code feature. |
Prompts

EFS Card Prompts
Prompts can be added to require drivers to enter specific information at the pump.
Secure Code Prompt — The prompt Control Number will display this card's current pump code.

Prompts section
Example: A driver can be prompted to enter their Driver ID and a numeric trip number at the pump.
Limits
Limits can be added to restrict how much fuel a driver can purchase within a given period.

EFS Fuel Card Limits
Example: A driver can be limited to purchasing 250 gallons of diesel within 16 hours.
Fuel Card Overrides
There are two ways to override fuel card restrictions when needed:
Override Open — Click this button on the toolbar to open the card and allow the driver to fuel while not under a load for up to 24 hours.
Override — Click this button under the Actions section to open the card for fueling at an off-network site for up to 24 hours.
