Maintain Fuel Surcharges

Description

Schedule Id

The schedule Id can be up to 25 characters in length and should be unique within the system. If you enter an Id that already exists in the system, the fuel surcharge table will be pulled from the system and can be edited. Otherwise, a new fuel surcharge table can be created.

Active

Check this if this pay plan is being used. If this is not checked, then you will not be able to select this fuel surcharge plan when maintaining Rate Plans.

Payment type

Select the payment type that you want to use for this fuel surcharge table.

Schedule type

Choose if the Fuel Surcharge should be charged as an "Amount per mile" or a "Percentage of linehaul". This choice will change the field on the table to either Surcharge or Percentage.

Days off set Fuel Price

Choose if you want to offset the Fuel Price schedule. You can choose "None" which will use the dates you set on the Fuel Prices, you can off set by 1, 2, or 3 days which will use the Fuel Prices and change the start and end dates by 1, 2, or 3 days.

Fuel price to use

Here you can choose which fuel price to use.

Add

Allows you to add different prices per gallon and their corresponding surcharges.

Delete

Will delete all FSC lines that are checked.

Per gallon from

Starting Price per gallon for this line of the Surcharge Table.

Per gallon to

Ending Price per gallon for this line of the Surcharge Table.

Surcharge

This will be the price per gallon when the current price of fuel matches the range for this line. This will only be present of the Schedule Type is set to Amount per mile.

Percentage

This will be the percentage of Linehaul to use for calculating Fuel for this line. This will only be present of the Schedule Type is set to Percent of linehaul
