Maintain Trucks

Field | Description |
Truck Id | Truck Id can be up to 25 characters in length and should be unique within the system. If you enter an Id that already exists in the system, the truck record will be pulled from the system and can be edited. Otherwise, a new truck record can be created. |
Active | This check allows a user of Ditat Mobile to use this truck. |
Deactivated on | If the truck is no longer active, enter when it was deactivated either manually or by using the calendar tool. If the truck is marked as active, this space will not be there. |
Reason | Select the reason the truck is not active. |
General

Field | Description |
Make | Enter the Make of the Truck. |
Model | Enter the Model of the Truck. |
Make Year | Enter the Make Year of the Truck. |
Engine make | Enter the Engine make for this Truck. |
Engine model/ HP | Enter the Engine Model for this Truck. Enter the Horse Power for this Truck. |
Engine serial number | Enter the Engine serial number for this Truck. |
Type | Select The Type of Truck. |
Tracking device | Select the Ditat Tracking device that will be used for this Truck. |
Planning board tag | Enter a Tag that will be used on the Planning Board. This will be a note that shows on the Planning Board associated with the displayed truck. (It is recommended to use a driver name or identification for this tag.) |
Asset number | Enter the asset number for this Truck. |
Company | Select which of your companies this truck will work under. This will be filled in with your Primary company by default when adding new trucks. |
VIN | Enter the VIN of the Truck. |
Title number | Enter the Title Number of the Truck. |
Plate owned by | Select if the plate is Company owned or Contracted. |
License plate | Enter the License Plate Number of the Truck. |
Tags expire on | Enter the Date the Tags Expire for the Truck. |
2nd License plate | If your truck has a second license plate (Mexico Plate for example) enter that here. |
2nd Tags expire on | Enter the Date the Tags Expire for the Truck. |
Next inspection on | Enter the Date of the Trucks next Inspection. |
In service on | Enter the Date of when this truck started Service. |
Next service on | Enter the Date for the Next service on date. There is a Dispatch rule that can be added to use this date. |
Owned by | Select if Truck is Owned by Company or Contracted. |
Lessor | If Truck is Contracted Must Choose Lessor. |
Financed by | Enter who Financed this Truck. |
Purchase date | Enter the Purchase Date of the Truck. |
Purchase price | Enter the Purchase Price of the Truck. |
Sale date | Enter the Sale Date of the Truck. |
Sale price | Enter the Sale Price of the Truck. |
Leasing company | Enter the Leasing Company information here. |
Lease reference | Enter the reference information for this Lease. |
Lease end date | Enter the date the lease should end. |
Lease early walk date | Enter the lease early walk date here. |
Lease monthly payment | Enter the lease monthly payment here. |
Lease maintenance CPM | Enter lease maintenance cents per mile here. |
Lease mileage yearly allowance | Enter lease mileage yearly allowance here. |
Truck Options

Field | Description |
Transmission | Select if this Truck has an Auto or Manual Transmission. |
Color | Enter the Color of the Truck here. |
Windshield | Select if the Windshield is 1 piece or 2 pieces. |
Speed limit (Cruise/Pedal) | Enter the Speed Limit for the Truck. |
Front tire size | Select the Front Tire Size. |
Rear tire size | Select the Rear Tire Size. |
Height | Enter the Height of the Truck. |
Empty weight | Enter the Empty Weight of the Truck. |
Gross weight | Enter the Gross Weight of the Truck. |
Max freight weight | Enter the Max Freight Weight of the Truck. |
Tank capacity | Enter the Tank Capacity of the Truck. |
Initial mileage | Enter the Initial Mileage of the Truck. |
Average MPG | Enter the Average MPG of the Truck. |
Axles | Enter the Number of Axles of the Truck. |
Dash camera | Enter details about the Dash Camera. |
Lane departure | Click if this Truck has Lane Departure warnings. |
Adaptive cruise | Click if this Truck has Adaptive Cruise. |
Flow below | Click if this Truck has Flow Below. |
APU | Click if this Truck has APU. If the box is checked other options will be opened up. |
Tire chains | Click if this Truck has Tire Chains. |
Inverter | Click if this Truck has an Inverter. |
Refrigerator | Click if this Truck has a refrigerator. |
Pedal coach | Click if this Truck has Pedal coach. If the box is checked other options will be opened up. |
V-Spoilers | Click if this Truck has V-Spoilers. |
Has pets | Click if this Truck Has Pets. |
Bunk heater | Click if this Truck has a bunk heater. |
References / Serials /Devices

Tolls/References can be added by clicking the Add button. This adds a new field to the truck, where you can select from the drop-down which type of Pass you would like to add, and the references you need to that line.

Insurance

Insurance information can be added to the truck by clicking the Add button. This opens an Insurance window, seen below, which allows insurance information to be added to the truck's file.

Custom groups

Field | Description |
Groups | Add this truck to any custom groups it needs to be in here. Custom groups can be used for reporting as well as for Filtering the Planning and Dispatch Boards. |
