Truck Margin Summary
This report will show a margin summary of all loads by truck.
Field | Description |
From/To pickup date | Select a pickup date range to see results for. |
From/To delivery date | Select a delivery date range to see results for. |
From/to Advance date | Select an advance date range to see results for. |
Truck | Select a specific truck to see results for. |
Truck Groups | Select specific group(s) of trucks to see results for. |
Company | Select a company to see only trucks running for that company. |
Revenue per mile | Select how you would like the revenue per mile displayed- by shipment miles, loaded miles, or total miles. |
Order by | Select how you would like the results ordered. |
Include active trucks with no loads | Select this option to show active trucks with no assigned loads on the report. |
Fuel, Tolls and Other Advances will only be filled in if you select the Advance date range on the report parameters page.
For Advances to display, both the Truck must be linked on the advance and the truck box checked.
Field | Description |
Truck | This column will list the truck. |
Trip count | The trip count of each truck will be displayed here. |
Empty miles | The empty miles will be displayed here. |
Loaded miles | The loaded miles will be displayed here. |
Total miles | The total miles will be displayed here. |
Linehaul revenue | The linehaul revenue will be displayed here. |
Total revenue | The total revenue will be displayed here. |
Revenue per mile | The revenue per mile will be displayed here. |
Total pay | The total pay will be displayed here. |
Fuel | The total of fuel advances linked to the truck will be displayed here. Fuel will include DEF |
Tolls | The total of toll advances linked to the truck will be displayed here. |
Other Advances | The total of other advances linked to the truck will be displayed here. |
Truck Payments | The truck payment amount will come from the Lease Monthly Payment field in the truck profile. = Lease Monthly Payment / days in month X days included |
Other Fixed Costs | This cost will be pulled in from the Notes section of the truck profile. The last note that begins with #OFC will be pulled. For example, if the other fixed cost is $500, a note of #OFC 500.00 should be used. |
Reimbursements | The total reimbursements linked to the truck for this timeframe will be listed here. |
Margin | This column will display the final truck margin. |
Truck Payments will be pulled from the Leased Monthly payments field on the Trucks profile.
Other fixed costs will be taken from the last note on the Truck’s profile that has the #OFC at the beginning of the note.
Margins are calculated using the following formula.
Margin = Total Revenue - Total Pay - Fuel- Tolls -Other Advances - Truck Payments - Other fixed cost - Reimbursements + Applied Advances.
