System Locks


System locks are activated when a TMS user is already accessing a record and another user opens the same record. The lock prevents the second user from displacing the first user's session unless they manually click the Unlock button.

Not all users have the ability to unlock a record. Unlock permissions are managed through the User Group screen, where administrators can grant or restrict this capability on a per-user-group basis.
