Maintain Trailers
To access tab: Assets -> Maintain Trailers

The following are unique toolbar options for this tab:
Field | Description |
Trailer Id | Trailer Id can be up to 25 characters in length and should be unique within the system. If you enter an Id that already exists in the system, the trailer record will be pulled from the system and can be edited. Otherwise, a new trailer record can be created. |
Active | This check allows a user of Ditat Mobile Dispatch to use this trailer. |
Deactivated on | If the trailer is no longer active, enter when it was deactivated either manually or by using the calendar tool. If the trailer is marked as active, this space will not be there. |
Reason | If the trailer is no longer active, select the reason it was deactivated from the menu. |
General
Fill out the General information about the trailer using the blanks in this section.
Trailer Options
Check all the characteristics that apply to this trailer. Use the drop-down menus to select the specific type of trait that applies to each characteristic. Fill in the dimensions of the trailer.
Ownership
Field | Description |
Owned by | Select if the trailer is Company Owned, Leased, or Rental. |
Lessor | Enter the lessor manually or using the lookup tool. |
Covered by reporting insurance company | Check if this trailer is covered. |
Tracking
Field | Description |
Tracking type | Select which type of tracking uses from the list of RCom, SkyBitz, Unspecified, Other and None. |
Unit serial number | Enter the unit serial number. |
Subscription start date | Enter the subscription start date manually or by using the calendar tool. |
Tracking device | Select the Ditat Tracking device to use for Tracking this Trailer. |
RFID Tag | Enter the RFID Tag for this Trailer. |
Reefer unit
Field | Description |
Brand | Select the brand of the reefer. |
Model | Here add the reefer model. |
Year | Write the year that the reefer unit was manufactured. |
Type | Select whether the type of reefer is Single Temp, Multi-Temp, Unspecified or Other. |
Serial number | Enter the serial number for this reefer unit. |
CARB compliant | Check if the reefer is compliant with the California Air Resource Board. |
CARB expire | Enter the date of expiration manually or by using the calendar tool. |
CARB number | Enter the CARB number for this unit. |
Details | Here add reefer details. |
Custom Groups
Field | Description |
Groups | Add this trailer to any custom groups it needs to be in here. Custom groups can be used for reporting as well as for Filtering the Planning and Dispatch Boards. |
