Margin Details

The margin details report is a shipment-based report that will show margin information. The report will show the miles for the shipment, revenue per mile, pay, advances, and the margin on the shipment. This report has options to include not invoiced and not paid shipments as well as shipments that have no trip.

This report is based off of shipments and then pulls in Trip data.

This means shipments with no trips will show on this report, where trips with no shipments (Non Revenue) loads will not be on the report.

Recommendation

Use fewer filters to provide more data.

Team Data

For this report, all Team Driver pay will show under the primary driver.

Field	Description
From/To pickup date	Here select a pickup date range for loads to view.
From/To delivery date	Here select a delivery date range for loads to view.
From/To invoice date	Here select an invoice date range for loads to view.
From/To booked by date	Here select a booked by date range for loads to view.
From/To dispatch date	Here select a dispatch date range for loads to view.
From/To city	Here you can select a specific from/to city and only loads with those pickup or delivery cities will show.
From/To state	Here you can select a specific from/to state and only loads with those pickup or delivery states will show.
From/To zone	Here you can select a specific from/to zone and only loads with those pickup or delivery zones will show.
Pickup location	Here you can select a specific pickup location and only loads with that pickup location will show.
Delivery location	Here you can select a specific delivery location and only loads with that delivery location will show.
Customer	If a customer is selected, you will only see loads done for that customer.
Truck	If a truck is selected, you will only see loads done by that truck.
Trailer	If a trailer is selected, you will only see loads done with that trailer.
Driver	If a driver is selected, you will only see loads done by that driver.
Carrier	If a carrier is selected, you will only see loads done by that carrier.
Company	If a company is selected, you will only see loads done for that company.
Groups	On the right, you can choose to run this report by any of the custom groups you have set up.
Driver type	Here select if you want to see loads done by company drivers, leased drivers, carriers, or all.
Included not invoiced	Check this box to include loads that have not been invoiced.
Included not paid	Check this box to show loads that have not yet been paid.
Include shipments no trip	Check this box to show loads without a trip.
Combine split trips	Check this box to combine split trips on the report.
Revenue	Here you can choose from the drop-down to show "Total revenue" or just "Linehaul revenue"
Hazmat	Here select if you want to show hazmat loads, not show them, or show all.
Goods	Here select if this report should show loads only hauling certain goods types.
Shipment Status	Here select the specific status of loads to view or all to view all.
Equipment type	Here select if this report should show loads hauled by a specific equipment type.
Second equipment type	Here select if this report should show loads hauled by a specific secondary equipment type.
Revenue per mile	Select how you would like the revenue per mile displayed- based off total miles, loaded miles, or shipment miles.
Revenue per mile	Choose how you would like your revenue per mile displayed- by total miles (empty+loaded), loaded miles, or shipment miles.
Order by	Select from the drop-down how you would like the shipments ordered on the report.
Group by	Select from the drop-down if/how you would like the shipments grouped.
View	Allows to switch between default, View 2 which includes pick up and delivery city/state, and View 3 which includes extra mileage information.

Field	Description
Delivery date	This column will display the delivery date.
Shipment	This column will display the shipment number.
Booked by	This column will display the booked by the user.
Booked for User	This column will display the user this is booked for to plan the load on the planning board.
Customer	This column will display the customer id the load was for.
Carrier/Driver/Truck	This column will display the carrier, driver, and/or truck on the trip.
Pick up/Delivery city/state	These columns will display the pick up and delivery city and state.
Pick up/Delivery date/time	These columns will display the pick up and delivery date and time.
Miles	This column will display the shipment miles. View 3 will display empty miles, loaded miles, and total miles.
Revenue per mile	This field will display the revenue per shipment miles. (=Revenue/Miles)
Revenue	This column will display the revenue.
Pay	This column will display the pay on the trip.
Margin	This column will display the margin. (=Revenue-Pay)
Margin %	This column will display the margin percentage. (=Margin/Revenue)
