The Best Pass integration uses an API connection to pull toll files. Ditat connects using a username and password to access the Best Pass SOAP data interface.

Linking Tolls in Ditat
Ditat uses the following steps to match toll information received from Best Pass to a truck and driver. Steps are processed in order — if a match is found at any step, the remaining steps are skipped.

Ditat checks Reference Field 3 from the incoming advance. If this matches a truck's license plate number, that truck will be assigned to the advance.

Ditat checks Reference Field 4 from the incoming advance. If this matches a truck, that truck will be assigned to the advance.

Ditat checks Reference Field 2 from the incoming advance. If this matches the Elite Pass or EZ Pass field on a truck record, that truck will be assigned to the advance.
If a driver is assigned to the matched truck, that driver will also be assigned to the advance. If the driver is part of a team, they must be set as the main driver.
